Your goal for this week is to work on the Satire Project (which is due by 11:59pm on THURSDAY, 4/2). I will available from 10am-11am each day this week via the padlet link (linked below). On TUESDAY, 3/31, we will be having a Zoom meeting to touch base and discuss your concerns and questions in regards to the Satire Project. I have outline the expectations for the week in the audio on the padlet. I MISS YOU GUYS! padlet link for 3/30-4/3 Per an administrative directive and beginning on MONDAY, 3/30, my office hours will now be from 10:00am to 11:00am Monday through Friday. I am sorry for an inconvenience in this change.

1. Your satire project is made up of TWO components: a. your original satire creation AND b. your Satire Questions with analytical response (many of you did not address BOTH components in your proposal, so please make sure you are working on BOTH). 2. If you are creating a visual piece, please make sure to take photographs and email them to me so that I have visual access to what you create. 3. The state of Georgia announced that we will remain closed indefinitely but an update will be given around April 24th. We will begin working with Victorians Friday before Spring Break (going over schedules and assignments). If you have feedback about how you think it is going, things you think I should continue to do, things I need to change, etc, please feel free to comment so that I can try to adjust to best fit your needs going forward. 4. We will have a Zoom meeting at 10:00am on TUESDAY, 3/31 to check in and address concerns about the satire project. I MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH! Happy Friday, Friday, Friday! Side note: As always, I am not making a political statement, nor does watching these videos have any baring on your grade whatsoever, but since lots of you are choosing to satire various responses to carona, I thought I would share some lovely parodies for inspiration. On the padlet I have posted two audios; the first addresses the week overall and reiterates the expectations of the satire project; the second is specifically about "Welcome to Hell" and the devices I am asking your to locate and analyze. I can't wait to hear what you think! To help answer any questions you may have, and for a chance for us to see and chat with each other, I will be holding an hour long Zoom meeting on WEDNESDAY, 3/25, at 10:00am. I will be posting the link on Wednesday morning, but I wanted to make sure you were aware so you could schedule accordingly.
