- Divide into EIGHT groups (there must be eight, so don’t ask).
- Send a representative to choose from the PINK BIN OF DESTINY.
- Given the Poetic Concept you are assigned, choose ONE poem from the At-Home-Poem-Packet.
- Sign up on the door for that specific poem. (a poem can only be analyzed ONCE for tone and ONCE for theme)
- Once you have selected your poem, complete the following:
- Fully annotate your poem for your Poetic Concept
- Complete your annotations in a presentable way (on butcher paper, digitally, poster board, whateves)
- Write a gorgeously articulated, fully developed, textually supported paragraph that addresses how the presence of your assigned Poetic Concept in the poem establishes tone or theme
- Ensure that each group member knows their specific part for the presentation on THURSDAY. (if you do not talk on THURSDAY, you get no points!)
